4 Reasons to Request Black and White Photos

Not all photographers offer black and white photography and/or the client must request this specific style of edit.  Here are 4 reasons you should request black and white photos from your photographer:

Timeless.

Black and white photos are classic images that live beyond fads.  As we close out 2018, it is easy to reflect on the many photography fads throughout this year:  bright & airy, matte, texturing, dark & moody, and more, but black and white photos are timeless.  You'll never look back on these photos and wish you hadn't asked for them.

Drama.

There is actually a lot of versatility when it comes to black and white photography.  Many people think of one type of "look" with B&Ws, but playing with different shades of gray and contrast can add drama to a photo.  

Emotion.

There's just something raw about black and white photos.  They reveal emotions through visual memories that words simply wouldn't be able portray. 

Beauty.
