was born on May 3rd at 12:48 PM and is my first NIECE! I have three nephews, so my family was so excited about the newest sassy addition. Gray was a long baby (and getting longer by the day) at 21 inches and weighed 8 lbs., 5 oz., a full pound bigger than her older brother. Our family is in love with the bright-eyed, strong baby girl!
Want to add a splash of color back into a black and white photo? This is the tutorial for you! There are many ways to achieve this effect in Photoshop, however, this is the quickest, simplest way, in my opinion.
Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him. Psalm 127:3
Children are my favorite subjects to photograph. As I have been spreading my wings into the matrimonial world, I am so pleased that I get to have moments with my first love: children.
Children of the Chewning wedding did not disappoint! They were all smiles and had GREAT behavior for the bride and groom's big day! Thank you, Michelle and Chase, for not only sharing your special day with me but sharing these precious children with me as well.
Usually I request that clients bring special memoirs with them to their photoshoots to help bring my creative vision alive and to make their photos something to remember for a lifetime. These memoirs along with any special requests from the clients' Pinterest boards help make beautiful photos.
Brittany was having her senior photoshoot done, so, naturally, she wanted her class ring included and accentuated and a photo showing her tattoo. However, my favorite piece from Brittany's photoshoot was a necklace from her grandmother. These types of pieces (and now these photos) will always be special to Brittany and her family.
Not all photographers offer black and white photography and/or the client must request this specific style of edit. Here are 4 reasons you should request black and white photos from your photographer:
Do you not agree that black and white photos are beautiful? The simplicity and grace warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.
Blake Lloyd, a former student of mine and founder of Blake Lloyd Photography, is an aspiring photographer in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Blake is currently taking courses to learn Photoshop and apprenticing to learn all that she can about photography. Here are 5 reasons you should book Blake Lloyd Photography for your next family session or event:
Blake's photography business is perfect for anyone who needs quality images on a budget. Because she is a student, her prices are on the lower side, however (and equally), because she is a student, she is learning more and more about technology that most seasoned photographers do not know. Student photographers, like Blake, are the way to go!
One thing I love about working with students is their passion! Blake is confident in her future and putting in the work for Blake Lloyd Photography. When you book a session with Blake, you will not have to worry about the time and effort spent on your photos and, ultimately, your memories. Her passion for photography will ensure quality images.

This family with six children, one daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren had a great session with Elegant Exposures. I was especially impressed with the two littles (twins) who hung in there like champs!
Little Miss is an Elegant Exposures model and professional. She had to show her FIVE brothers the ropes when it comes to posing.
Elegant Exposures wants to wish the Reynolds/Hunt family a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Rule of Thirds
Side -by-side perspective • Front-center-back perspective
When thinking about the rule of thirds, you don’t only have to think about what is beside your subject.
Think about what is in the FOREGROUND and BACKGROUND, as well.
Here you will see a tree trunk in the BACKGROUND, the SUBJECT, then a leaf in the FOREGROUND to complete a different perspective for the rule of thirds.
Use what you learned about perspective and get a photo or photos with a Christmas book.
Post another collage showing different perspectives
